Aix-en-Provence and Marseille are relatively close to the island Corsica. Many people living here have friends or relatives in Corsica. And boats and planes go up and down to Corsica every day with thousands of people. So it should come as no suprise that the two cities of the Métropole Aix-en-Provence Marseille and surrounding area are full of Corsican restaurants and shops. In this post read about some of the best Corsican restaurants and shops we found.
Le Contrepoint
Cool place, great music and some real Corsican dishes here
Author: Nicolaas, September 14, 2019
In the northern part of Aix-en-Provence Jacques and Lionel run this small and quaint restaurant with tasty Corsican food, informal atmosphere and great music (very much classic rock). We went there several years ago after some international newspapers and websites wrote favourably about Le Contrepoint and its team. Since then we have become regular guests. We love their magret de canard and somewhat salty Corsican red wine. Not to miss!
