One of the nice things about this region (and France as a whole) is that there still are so many traditional bakeries. They open very early in the morning and therefore are also great places to get a croissant or baguette for breakfast. Nearly all of the bakeries double also as ‘patisseries’. Try out the small ‘soirees’ which come in many variations and are delicious. Here below you can find some of the best bakeries we know. This is one of the first bakeries we visited when we were staying in the Adagio Hotel Apartments on gthe other side of the road. We immediately fell in love with the croissants. Because one thing you find out when living or staying in France is that the quality and taste differs per bakery. Well, up to today this still is our number one!.
