In Holland we loved going to the Indonesian restaurants. Here there are near to none. Of course history plays a role here. Indonesia was one of the Dutch colonies. For France that was Vietnam. And therefore you will find many Vietnamese restaurants in France. Here we will describe some of our favourites.
Nem Viet
Basic interior, reasonably priced, superior food
Author: Nicolaas, October 9, 2019
We often go here on weekdays for a not too expensive but superb meal. We love the Vietnamese kitchen. And the friendly Vietnamese staff serving us. Somewhere downstairs we always hear the cook(s) laughing and bantering while they are cooking some amazing noodle or rice dishes. My favourite is the Bun Cha Hanoi. Try it!
Frequented by foreign students or people who one in a while want to be in another and non-French environment here in Aix-en-Provence. Or like us who just enjoy the Vietnamese cuisine.
